Lennox 8 External oak Door

BD Joinery has introduced a new contempory external door the Lennox 8 and the Lennox 5.

This door is a simple contempory style and comes with the option of having 8 panels or 5 panels made to your required size.

A unique individual door on the BD Joinery website. This oak veneered door is produced by BD Joinery in house. It is a solid wood engineered door with a hardwood veneer running in the traditional vertical grain. The oak veneer is running horizontally on the Lennox door.
Preparation for BD Joinery to produce this door is as follows. We utilize an engineered wooden door, we then machine the door with 13mm x 6mm groves. When this has been done we reinstate the grooves in the engineered door with solid oak strips 13mm x 6mm. The door is now ready to be sanded in a large drum roller. We check all the door is flush and then apply an oak veneer to the facia. The oak veneer is attached by a water proof glue, the door is now presented as a oak veneered door. The oak door is then put in to a hot plate press with heavy tonnage applied. Once this process has been done on the door we hand machining the Lennox door with its v grooves. We cut through the oak veneer into the solid oak strips therefore giving the impression to the naked eye the look of a solid oak door. The Lennox is born…
